On 30th March 2023, Palar Agricultural College celebrated Farmers Day, an occasion dedicated to honoring and recognizing the invaluable contributions of farmers in our society. The event was graced by esteemed chief guests, Thiru. K.C. Veeramani, B.A., Chairman, Dr. Abdul Kadhar, Professor in Tamil at Islamia Arts & Science College in Vaniyambadi and Dr. Maria Antony Raj, Principal of Sacred Heart College in Tirupathur and Dr. Y. Hariprasad, Principal of PAC, also presided over the event.
On Farmers’ Day, our college hosted a vibrant celebration, inviting farmers from in and around Vellore district. The event featured a diverse array of stalls offering agricultural materials. Farmers enthusiastically engaged with these stalls, making purchases and exploring innovative farming solutions. College students actively participated in various cultural events. The occasion also included the distribution of prizes, recognizing and celebrating the hard work of farmers.
